Water Windows save 70% on aircon

According to an article on TreeHugger, research at the Polytechnic University of Madrid found that by adding a 1cm slot into office buildings’ windows with water flowing through it, heat can be absorbed to such an extent that the need for air conditioning can be decreased by 70%.

The research has led to a product dubbed Intelliglass. Unfortunately, the detail available on the UPM site is in Spanish.
